Im not dead!

Yes thats right! I am not dead!

I have however recovered form christmas. But I have decided that its time to give up my GHDs or at least cut down on using them. This is proving difficult however as I seem to be either addicted to using them or have some kind of OCD about it! grr. I am going off to the hair dressers tonight to get all the dead bits of hair cut off but to ask about a style I can manage without my straightners. Wish me luck!

I dont have much else to tell really as not much has happened.

Christmas Joy!

Hello, so Christmas has been and gone! went in a flash!

I got some wonderful presents and got some good stuff in the sales too. My OH and I cooked xmas lunch with not too many problems, infact it was quite tasty!

We survived 3 days with family over in our tiny little house too! OH parents are home from their holidays now too so a visiting we must do, but not before I have to do a half day at work... Im tired now, will try to write more soon!

fit clothes for fat people

ok, so I am ranting! I want to look nice at the gym but why dont they make fitness clothing for fat people, surely fat people want to got to the gym to get thin?

I dont see why they cant just make addidas pants etc in bigger sizes? So there I am on line, surfing for gym pants in larger sizes and they are all horrfic! no wonder larger ladies look awful in the gym!

well im still in work at 5:30 and I was here at 8:45 so I am going to jolly off now I have ranted!

blooming decs and colds!

ok! so I still have my cold, only now its a tickely cough and when I do cough my head hurts! blooming thing, oh and its keeping me up too!

we put up our christmas tree today, blooming thing! took us well over an hour! the lights are on and so are the ballballs, all I think we may add is some tinsle. This is because we made the mistake of buying lights on a black wire last year and not a green one... duh!

but it looks good, just got to remember to water it! lol yes last year I killed the tree!

We also went to the farm shop and got some veggies too and had a bit of a drive round some of the areas we are thinking of moving too. We went to Woolies today for the biggest ever sale, quite frankly it was CRAP! it was up to 50% off and most things were only 10 or 20%. 

Back to work tomorrow, sigh, christmas dinner this friday plus a badminton tornimant, I must check I can stay at Sarah's! 

We have the family coming over for xmas dinner this year, well for 3 days! OMG where are we going to put every one?

well we are thinking that Sister and her OH are kipping in the livingroom, Mum and Dad in the spare room and me and paul, well in our own room. Then we have a 2 seat sofa and a "3 seat" sofa, now I do "" as its only really 2 seats but 2 huge seats so we may fit 3 on there.  we have a few games to play too inc some wii games and a pub quiz game! cool. we are also hoping for lots of drink, well im  going to need it! argh!

I think ppl will be arriving sometime after lunch on xmas eve, well I hope. we are also hoping to invite L and A over for xmas drinks too! god full house! Then we will be doing xmas eve tea. The xmas morning we will be having crassionts (or how ever you spell french brekki!) then we will be having a huge ish lunch followed by a nice walk somewhere. Then to return for nuts and crisps and other nibbles. Then boxing day breakfast followed by a buffett lunch. I havent gotten much further and all items are subject to change! lol

1 My sister likes knitting, she eats, reads, sleeps and does knitting. Its nice to have a hobby, I dont mind that. However her Blog if you cut it would bleed wool and yarn and sheep. All she writes about at the mo is bloody knitting, which I want to write as nitting, thats a way better way to write the word anyways!!

2. Evaluation tools. So I have been given my first REAL deadline at work! I have to do some research about some Evaluation tools that can be used to evaluate our work! so first things first I need to find out what types of evaluation tools there are... Help people! OH suggested looking at Buisness as they do things like the SWOT and PEST analasys which I do know about but we need more like a goals type evaluation... hummm

3. Colds Tis the season! Yes I have had 2 weeks off work and during that time I have developed a cold. Started off as a slight cough and is now a chesty cough and a runny/blocked/runny/blocked nose. 

4. House, still looking on the old housing front, found another one, slightly cheaper, also got quoted at better intrest rate too!

5. Xmas! Oh my god! where are we going to put everyone!? We even brought a smaller xmas tree! OH and I have moved the living room round to see where everyone can sit, we also moved the kitchen table to see if we could eat at it! The main issue is going to be seeing the TV round the Tree! oh and we only have 5 seats and 6 people. oh yeah and 2 beds and 3 couples! argh I can feel the stress mounting!

PS I started Trampoline coaching again this week! Voluntary like!

houses and money

Well we sat down today and looked through our money and although we can have a morgage of 300k would just couldnt live with the repayments. We had been looking at a house in the 190k region! Now I know that sounds expensive but round here its not so bad. We dont want a terrace because we have 2 cars and we dont want them to be dammaged. We cant have a second hand house because we cant raise a deposit and the bank wont do a morgage without a deposit. So a new build is perfect, the House builders will give us the deposit we need.

So the OH has put in an offer on a house we cant afford! lol hes offered them a much lower price, now I dont think that they will accept the offer but if they do we are looking at a 1000 a month morgage and OH seems to think we can afford it, the figures suggest so but Im un sure. How ever the house I like we can afford, however the master bedroom is a tad small but the rest of the house + garage is great! I decided that at the end of the day you only sleep in the bedroom! and in a few years we can buy something bigger, its just important to get on the ladder I guess!


I also did some xmas shopping, how ever the sister's OH is proving more difficult then first thought!

The weather was horrible here today but if its nicer like it says it will be, we are going to go to Blackpool for the day... how nice, well its years since I went there! and I LOVE 2p machiens!

Well one more week off work, Im sort of looking forwards to going back only because I am missing the routine.

more shopping

Well today I went to the bank and got me and OH a joint account! ooooohhh then we went shopping at the outlet, I didnt buy anything ut OH brough an all blacks top. We also ummed and ahhhed about a new caffeteeair who knows how to spell that one!!

We also saw the biggest christmas tree in britian too!

Since being back I have done the dishes that were from lastnight! I know ewww! I have also put lasgana in the oven for tea. The stray cat has been here, wait is still here! its been comming round for a year now! it goes to the forigen lady to get flea treatments and sleeps over at the black peoples house at the bottom and comes to us for its food! I think its doing pretty well concidering no one knows who it belongs to!

just killing time now unitll the food is cooked, well till its time to take the foil off and add the chips!
